I have been having picture freeze on analog channels, 27, 45, 46, 50, and 51 among others. It so happens that the channels mentioned are my favorite channels. I have called tech support and scheduled a tch to come today. He called this am and stated he could not fix the problem that it was head unit problem, so he did not come out to check my connections or my outside box. About 4-6 months ago, Cox tech came out and installed new outside box and new cable from pole to house.Picture was great for while, but about a month ago, started to get picture freeze. This would last anywhere from 10 minutes to hours. I am not happy customer! I have been loyal Cox customer for 25 years and have Internet, TV and home phone with Cox. It his can not be fixed, then I will go back to ATT and get a Direct TV Dish!
BTW: all my TV's are HDTV, Sharp Aquos, 32 and 52 inch.

I'd like to look into this. Is this happening on a TV with or without a box? Please email your address to cox.help@cox.com so we can take a closer look.
Thank you,

If he is using a STB (except quite old STBs), the box is tuning a digital version of this "analog" channel. Most Cox receivers and DVRs have digital tuners only. The 8300 is the last Cox DVR to have an analog tuner.
