paying for 100mbps getting 30 and zero help
Ive had techs out......numerous hours on the phone....new modem.....resets.....I was on chat 2 weeks ago and they were elevating my issue and guess what??? Havent heard a word!!!!! CenturyLink......here I come.

28 download, and 11 upload with a wired connection. Always about that speed. Same results when the technician wad here. He replaced my modem (and forgot to give me a battery)...and still no better. Told me it would be "eccalated" but here I am....not sure why I have to keep reaching out. Cox knows there is a problem here.

I looked from here however all appears well with the modem. Can you try testing without the router and see if you can duplicate these results?

I tested straight off of the modem...no router

When did you last try this? I looked at the modem and it doesn't appear any changes have been made to the connection for a few weeks now. Would it be possible to try again?

Don't forget to push the reset button on the modem after you plug a different device into it otherwise the connection won't work.

That result looks much better. Does this computer use a gigabit Ethernet port?

It's a new computer. 50mbps is half of what I pay for???? Can I pay half my bill?? Come on......you guys have strung me along for over a month

Being new is promising however gigabit Ethernet ports aren't standard. Do you know if that is what yours has?
