Based on the information posted I'd say hops 6 and 7 probably aren't losing packets. Keep in mind you must go through these hops to reach all subsequent hops therefore if you were losing packets at hops 6 and 7 you would see that continue all the way to the end.
I am aware that I'm losing packets over hop 6 and 7, all the way to the end, a percentage of the time. Keep in mind this was over 50 runs, so it is showing an intermittent problem. 68.1.1.14 out of Macon, GA seems to be the culprit.
If you have anything showing loss all the way to the end that would be more helpful. Looking at what you have posted so far I don't see any packet loss occurring.,
Chris I am confused. Didnt your first post say you did see packet loss? At hop 6? The trace shows it occurring inside Cox network. Shouldn't this be escalated to a engineer?
