Pac12 All Channels/Markets no longer available on Android Tablet?
Less than a year ago I was able to access ANY Pac12 market on my tablet or laptop. Now it only allows Arizona and Los Angeles and the other markets have a key-lock-icon on them.
I contacted Cox and they said that they have had several complaints about this issue but were unable to help me resolve the issue (even at Tier 2 tech support)
Anyone know why?

Cox customers will only have access to PAC-12 Arizona and PAC-12 Los Angeles through the TVEverywhere app and online.PAC-12 Network has decided to make changes to block access to national and four regional feeds to their network app and online. Cox customers were previously given access. This change is based on a programming decision by PAC 12, not Cox. In Cox systems where the PAC-12 National feed is carried, access on the PAC-12 NOW TVEverywhere app and online will be limited to PAC 12 Arizona and PAC 12 Los Angeles feeds. I hope this information helps.

Why is it that companies always point the finger at the other, and the customer is still left in limbo????
You (Derrick W, representative of COX) say that it's Pac-12 who is to blame BUT in the email string below, Pac-12 is saying COX only paid for & selected the 2 markets (and that COX needs to choose all the markets in order for me to get them all like I did before)???

You only get the channels that are included in your TV Package through Cox.-------> If you want additional regional channels it would be good to give this feedback to Cox as these are the ones they selected.<-------

2nd QUESTION:
Otgc****@gmail.com, Feb 13, 5:51 PM:
So if I have "TV Everywhere service", I can get all the Pac12 channels/markets through Cox?

As we have continued to differentiate each of our networks, we have also aligned our TV Everywhere access practices with all other TV networks. We are simply following the industry standard. If your provider does not allow you to access your preferred network on TV or through Pac-12 Now (TV Everywhere service), we encourage you to contact them and let them know you want it.

My initial Email QUESTION:
Otgc****@gmail.com, Feb 13, 4:22 PM:
I used to be able to log into any of the pac12 network channels live streaming from both my laptop and my tablet by using my Cox log in. It is only giving me access to Arizona and Los Angeles. I wanted to watch the Oregon State vs. Cal basketball game and got the error message "Your Cox TV package doesn't include this content. Please contact Cox to request access." I spoke to Cox Tier 2 support and they have confirmed that several of their customers have been calling to complain about the same issue. 3 different tech support people checked my package and all confirm that I have Pac12 for TV. Why won't my log in let me have access to all the markets anymore?

Here is another online link I just found from someone else experiencing the same issue. It too says that Cox chooses the channels they want their customers to have access to.
So I'm letting you know: Dear Cox-Customer-Service, I WANT ALL MY PAC-12 CHANNELS BACK!!!!
PAC-12 NOW /TV EVERYWHERE
The change you have experienced is something called "mapping." Mapping is a term video providers use to describe the access to TV Everywhere content they offer their customers. It is new in some cases. Time Warner, for example, has been mapping since we launched. Others have been rolling it out over time. It went into effect for Cox and DISH February 1.This is the same practice that happens with all TV Networks and has been slowly being adopted by Pac-12 Networks providers.
Pac-12 Networks produces 850 live events and more than 500 hours of original programming in HD and distributes it to all providers. It is up to each provider to determine how the content is delivered to you. If your provider does not allow you to access your preferred network on TV or through the Pac-12 Now, we encourage you to contact them and let them know you want it. To make contacting your provider easier, we have included a link below that will allow you to email them directly or reach them through social media.

Hi RealityBytes,
You are correct. Cox—and all cable and satellite TV providers—choose the channels they want to offer in their channel lineup. The Pac-12 Network has one national network channel and six regional sports network channels. Cable and satellite TV providers can choose to include any (or all) of these seven networks in their channel lineup. Each channel comes at a cost.
Cox subscribes to only two of the seven available Pac-12 regional channels; the two channels that overlap with our geographic service area. Since access to mobile content is based off your Cox TV subscription, our customers were enjoying online and mobile content for the other four Pac-12 regional channels for free.
I am also a big college sports fan, so I can relate to your frustration. I’m sorry that these changes have been so distressing! I have forwarded your posts to our program managers so your voice will be heard.
