opening ports and changing nat for ps4 games
My son is trying to play games on ps4 and cannot join party chats while playing online. He didn't have this problem when we had internet from att/dsl. How to fix? Router is Netgear AC 1900 C6300bd. Speed is 150mps. PD4 says ports need opened and NAT type lowered to type 1. Is this something I can do or is it something done via support tech?

You can sign into the router's configuration page at http://192.168.0.1 to adjust port forwarding settings. Ideally if uPNP is enabled on the router and the PS4 this should take care of itself. If the problem is just poor connectivity I suspect NAT type is not a factor. I'd suggest testing a wired connection first if that is possible.
