On Demand???

I haven't had Cox TV before so I'm pretty clueless. The apt I'm in furnishes expanded basic. I called to cancel and the guy sold me "On Demand" saying I could watch tv shows for a week or more AND I could watch them from my computer (yeah).

I haven't even opened the box because I wasn't interested in TV as much as I was in watching it on my computer. I spent one night looking around and couldn't find anything on it.

The only show I saw listed that I might be interested in was "and more". Huh? Was I sold a bunch of _ _ _ _ (fill in the blank)? Where's the list of shows? What the heck have I been paying for? I'm not interested in renting movies from Cox.

I would have signed up with Century Link tonight but their website is really bad; no show listings, no definitions on terms, etc. I guess that's what is meant by 'better'.

Now I'm thinking I need a refund.

I apologize for any misunderstands.  OnDemand is a free feature of Cox Advanced TV which requires a digital receiver to access.  It features a variety of both free and paid content in standard and high definition.  If you subscribe to digital TV services and Preferred or better Internet service you can also watch TV via an iPad using the Cox TV Connect app.

That's helpful. I haven't unboxed it because I don't have the space for another appliance or box really. I wanted something simple. I discovered last night that most of my shows are available on HULU and the one show not with them is with NetFlix for $8/mth. Maybe that's a better route for me. It certainly is a lot less wires.
