Does Cox have nomorobo service for residential customers yet?? It would be much appreciated as we get so tired of telemarketers!

At this time the simultaneous ring feature they require is not available on our residential phone service.

Nomo wouldn't help anyway. Nomo only works for the known, repeat nuisance numbers...not the one-time annoyances.
Over half of my nuisance calls this past year has been from one-time numbers. These weren't just people dialing the wrong number but blatant spoofs, such as 123-456-7890 and numbers with fakes area codes or exchanges. A fake number will call and then another fake number and another, etc. Each number only calls once.
Nomo works with reported numbers. Meaning, when you get a call, you report it and Nomo adds it to their database. However, if the scammer uses the number once, it doesn't matter if you report it because they've already switched to another number. The damage is already done. Go ahead and block it; they're done with it.
Eventually, the scammers will use legitimate numbers, such as yours and mine. Then we'd be burdened to have it removed from Nomo.
If I were a scammer, there is absolutely nothing you could do to stop me from ringing your phone. Even if you "white-listed," I'll concoct a caller ID to bait you.
