I'm using a Ceton InfiniTV 4 (Norfolk, VA), and i've had no problems for over a year. Now 1034 that is the only channel I'm not getting a signal on. Started about 2 nights ago. Every single other channel comes in fine.
Any ideas?

It seems to be working at our center. I'm sorry that you are having difficulty with this channel. Are you getting any messages on the screen when you tune to 1034? I recommend checking your connections to the receiver. Do you have any splitters connected to the coax cable line coming from the outlet to the receiver? Disconnect the power to the box and the coax cable that is connected to the 'cable in' spot on the back of the box. After 2 minutes, reconnect the power and the cable wire as finger tight as possible. Allow the receiver 3-5 minutes for the box to fully reload. Let us know if this helps.

thanks for the response. i'm working with Ceton on the issue as well, and it's definitely signal strength. If i take the coax straight from the wall into the back of the tuning adapter, the channel tunes perfectly. the minute i put any type of splitter into the mix (and trust me, i have many), the pixelation starts. i've used a different piece of coax for just about every line, and the only way to get it to tune is directly to the tuning adapter.
but for me, this setup can't work as permanent solution. i have to split the coax connection. one to the tuning adapter, and another to my moca, which routes upstairs to my xbox as an extender.
i'll probably have to get Cox out here to test the line.

errr, how do i email you?
btw, i've tried a few new things. i made sure the coax was the same length coming out of each side of the splitter on the first and second floor. still no dice. the signal loss is still too much on the SDV channels.

i emailed, and got the generic local help number. i called at 10:45 am, went through automated prompts to "identify" my problems for 15 minutes...then it finally forwarded me to an agent, and i waited on hold until 11:20 before I just gave up.
At this point, I think Ceton is getting involed and they said they're going to try and contact someone there who understands the problem I'm having. They know it's not a simple signal refresh. I'm getting -15dbv on my SDV channels which is just a really bad signal on my line.

wow, not sure where to start. first, the representative that was sent out was one of the nicest guys and hardest working individuals i've come across. first, he asked me how old the line was. i told him it's the same since i moved in (10 years ago), so boom, he runs a completely new line to my house. the splitter outside my house was old and rusted so he replaced that as well. then he noticed i had gold connectors on my wall plates (which are only certified for OTA), so he put new silver barrels in and replaced the old knob connectors behind the wall. he also replaced the 2 splitters on my first and second floor with antronix (cox approved/supported).
so after all that......the SDV channels are still pixelating.
my next two options are replacing the TA, and/or adding a POE filter before the TA. after that, it gets into electrical and drilling in the house to fish the connections. so a ways to go on this one. i'm going to stop by cox tomorrow and swap out my TA on the way home from work.
again, the tech that came out was more than amazing. he did everything he possibly could, short of drilling into the walls.

so i get a new TA (let me clarify...he took my TA, usb, and power cable in back)...then just came out with a TA he rattled to see if it was making any loose noises. i asked him for a power supply and cable, and he just picked up my old ones of the counter.
i asked him how long it would take for cox send the signal and sync up with the new adapter...he said it was just "plug and play".......yea, plug and play.
so i get home, and of course it doesn't sync. i call tech support, and asks me to reset my m-mcard (please, not that), but i did...and he couldn't get either devices to pair again. so now i wait for another appointment for someone to come out and look at it.
