No longer able to watch CNN.com Live TV - Cox Cable Manchester CT - possible answer

Hi,

For a while I used to be able to go to cnn.com, then the Live TV section, be asked for my cox id and password - and then I could watch CNN from my PC.

Now when I try to do the above, I get a "not authorized from your cable provider message".

I think I might have an answer to this problem (but not an answer to why I USED to be able to watch CNN.com.

In particular -

To access all Turner content, you must be a subscriber to Cox Advanced TV Essential

TURNER

• TBS
• TNT
• truTV
• Cartoon Network
• Adult Swim
• Cnn.com

 I am not a subscriber to Cox advanced TV essentials - I am just a Cox TV subscriber.  

So the above explains why I can't see CNN Live TV now - buit doesn't explain why I USED to be able to view it on my PC.

To confirm, I can't view CNN.com Live TV on my PC because I am not an advanced TV subscriber - true?
