I just wanted to find out if anyone knew why I have to subscribe to TLC when it should be included in the Essential package?? My girlfriend likes that channel and we shouldn't have to subscribe to it when it should already be included!

What state/town do you live in? In my area it is included with Essential, just not with Economy. Did someone say it wasn't or is it you just can't get the channel in? Here is Cox's channel lineup, just enter in your zip code on the top right to make it specific to your area.
If it's in your channel lineup, but says "please call to subscribe" on that channel, you probably just need to reboot the cable box.
