NBC Sports App

I have read several of these and I'm not finding my answer. Is the Cox and NBC Sports issue just with the ipad app? I can stream through the website logging in, by when I try to use the ipad app it will not play. I get 404 error messages when I try and log in and I get UD: Error.LoginErrorTitle when I click on content to play. I am not trying to play NBC Live content, I am trying to play NBCSN content.

Yes, several times.  Same problem each time.

On the app and online, COX is not listed as one of the available subscribers to select. This has happened before.

Yes that has happened before, but they resolved that problem and they are listed again. I have no problem playing content for the website, I cannot play it from the iPad app though.

Actually, COX is not on the list of options via the NBC Live Streaming website either for me (zip code 93101). So, I'm out of luck via the app and web.

I know this, this doesn't answer my question. I subscribe to Cox TV, I can access it through http://livestream.nbcsports.com, I cannot through the app. That's the problem. I am trying to play the same content that I am streaming through the website on my desktop on the iPad app and the app is not working. I continue to get 404 login errors when signing in through the app, I do not get those errors on the website.

Hi Patton,

I had a similar problem with the NBC Sports LiveExtra app on my iPad. I continued to get the 404 error after uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This is what worked for me: Click on the Menu icon and then click on Settings. Click on Log Out. Uninstall the app, reboot your iPad, and reinstall the app. Then go back to Menu\Settings, choose Cox as your provider, and log in from there.

Sorry for the late response and I can certainly understand your frustration with the app. Please let us know if you are still having issues with the app and let us know what Ipad version you have and the IOS version that you are running.

Seriously, I have read comments from Oct and still no NBC live????  I'm missing the Winter Classic and my bill is $230/month
