Once the transition to all digital completes all TVs will require a box of some kind. This would include TVs that are sold as digital ready as how that applies to over the air signals.

While your passing suggestions along, maybe ask them to loosen the leash a bit? The people moderating the forum should be the ones who decide how it is moderated.

You could purchase either a Tivo or some other cable card device and use that. Cable cards however are $1.99/mo. each.
