Apparently our household is being forced to switch to all digital within the next couple weeks. We were sent Mini-Boxes by Cox. Set up two of them, and each is have its own problem.
First one isn't receiving all channels, and yes I'm only talking about basic channels like 1-70. For example, we get ESPN on channel 26 but Discovery on channel 25 doesn't work. It gives the error code "M3.1.4". If I unplug the box and just go straight into the wall, we get all the channels still.
The second mini-box on the other TV doesn't even get past setup. It's stuck on a blue screen with the Cox logo and the error message "M2.1.3". Actually tried two different outlets as well, one of which was just recently installed by a tech and should have a high quality signal with no interference.

I am getting the same thing M.3.1.4, my wife called yesterday and the Cox support person told us two things: 1.) This is happening to a lot of their customers (is that supposed to make us feel better about it???) and 2.) she also said to check the non-working channels in three hours (probably when she is off her shift) and see if it works then, LMAO. Guess what it didn't work! Surprised? Not me. These people are a joke. This has been going on since day one when our area was going to All Digital and made us set up these cheap mini-boxes. We don't get essential channels like the Comedy Channel, Travel Channel, and HGTV on two of our TVs. We are probably missing more channels but those are the channels that I watch a lot so I know they aren't working. I am seriously thinking of switching services because of their bungling and terrible service.
