Mini box remotes
My mini box remotes only work when i use them directly in front of the tv. I tried new batteries but no luck. If there is any angle other than straight ahead they will not work, very frustrating. Any suggestions?

Easiest solution would be to turn the bow towards where your trying to remote the control the box from. If that's not possible, you could get a IR blaster or a IR>RF adapter, how ever that means a extra cost. Since remotes just work using IR light, a mirror or something reflective might also work to allow the signal to reach the sensor.

Is your TV LED backlit? If so, does the remote respond better if the TV is turned off?
