Looking to switch from CenturyLink

So I now live in a newish house in North Las Vegas.  The CenturyLink box is currently on the street-side top-floor bedroom.  However there is a Coaxial outlet in my room on the bottom-level backyard-side.

So questions are:

1.  Is the house wired for Coax?

2.  Is it extra to have it in multiple rooms?

3.  Where do I look for the TV info?

4.  Why isn't there an email for support, you'd think they'd be trying to get my business any way they can.

"1.  Is the house wired for Coax?"

No one here, other users,  would be able to answer that. Usually cable providers don't co-mingle, so it's unlikely. Do you suspect that they do? Is there a Cox or non CenturyLink box on side of house?

 2.  Is it extra to have it in multiple rooms?

If signal is encrypted yet in your area, yes. You will need a box for every TV. What kind of box is up to you; Mini box(2$), Standard Def(12$),HD Box(12$), HD DVR (20$+).

3.  Where do I look for the TV info?

What info? Whats on what channel?

4.  Why isn't there an email for support, you'd think they'd be trying to get my business any way they can.

There is. See here.  Or email cox.help@cox.com

1. cablemover.com should say if your address is serviced by Cox. Otherwise, call them. Their Tech support is open 24/7.

2. Yes. Receiver rentals are 8.50/mo per box unless you want a room to have just the basics while other rooms take advantage of a more robust package. The rooms running basic cable will eventually require a minibox  (converts signal from analog to digital) and cost 1.99/mo. DVR rentals are 8.50/mo. The DVR svc is either 11.99 or 19.99/mo unless built into the promo.

3. TV Listing and Channel lineup are listed on cox.Com under Shop and My Connection.

4. There is. You could always call in with questions and to set up svc. Even Tech Support will setup svc if Sales is closed.

Hope this helps?
