Issue w/ SMTP in Thunderbird 45.8.0

I've had issues before with it not saving outgoing mail in Thunderbird, but NEVER in sending. This has appeared over the last 24 hours or so, still works fine in my phone & iMac (both using IMAP and Apple Mail).

Now that I'm typing this I realize it might be JUST due to the VPN. I do use it with different end points/cities. But either way it's happening and I need to be able to send e-mails, regardless of what city/country I appear to be sending from.

Is this issue duplicated when you're sending while not on your VPN?

It is not happening when connected to the VPN. As I said I believe it to potentially be preventing me from sending an e-mail when I appear to be coming from a different state/country than I am currently residing.

Have you tested this with other email applications and/or Webmail?
