Our marketing folks confirmed that this is not a Cox-sponsored survey. It is possible that this is actually a phishing attempt or scam to gather personal information. Because it is not affiliated or endorsed by Cox, we do not recommend or trust this survey.
NicholeC: just experienced this identical fake Cox Communications survey. As a Cox long-time customer, I'm alarmed -- particularly since I have very robust malware protection.
Can you please look into this and update Cox's position on this serious issue?
This popped up on my screen moments ago. From what I've read you all have said it's not legit. How are they gaining access to all these cox account members?
Based on the information on the pop up its likely they are just verify a the provider of the Ip address since it does not go into more detail. Our Network Security department has been made aware of it in case they are able to locate what spyware or malware is causing it to prevent future issues.

I have been getting this spam too. Opens a new tab in Chrome and I use AdBlock Plus. I also have another plugin to block a site. You must be able to right-click on the web page to block it though and there is no right click on isp-survey.com page. Since they are using Cox logo, it looks like it is from Cox Communications.

Where did you get the link from? I tried to go to it but it would not open up, I received an error "The page you are looking for cannot be found."

This survey just showed up in my browser - Chrome Version 42.0.2311.135 m.
I was on a Google search results page and suddenly the page shifted to this.
See screen shot attached.

I've never once seen this ad survey, but then again I use Adblock Plus on my browsers. Maybe you all should give that a try.
