Since I've seen Cox issue /56 addresses for IPv6 that would eliminate the possibility of using slaac - as that requires a /64 - "Moreover, it is important to note that SLAAC most commonly uses eui-64 format for address assignment. This means that IPv6 addresses will be built from a combination of the Layer 3 subnet prefix and the MAC address of the client. The requirement for SLAAC is that the LAN segment must use a /64 mask."

Your router needs to send a 'hint' requesting the /56 address (or /60, /58) with its DHCP announce

Ipv6 not working every 2-3 days, need to change ipv6 settings to auto detect and refresh ipv6 connection
