When I try to configure my Cisco Modem, the instructions on pg 26 say to contact 192.168.0.1. When I do that I get:
"Your connection is not secure. The owner of 192.168.0.0 has configured their website improperly... Invalid security certificate."
Can you fix this?

Bob, 192.168.0.1 is on your internal network, not the internet. It is the internal address of your gateway. How are you contacting 192.168.0.1? Are you entering https: in the address? Something is requesting a secure connection.

If you can't trust your own router, who can you trust?
Seriously though, its just a warning because the GUI of the router is a web server, but not a "real web server".Doesn't need a certificate because only YOU can access it. You know it's legit..you bought it.
So basically ignore/bypass. I assume Firefox? Or just install another broswer (chrome?)?
BTW, why does the error say 192.168.0.0? Could this be a simple typo?

Thanx for the replies. The message said 192.168.0.1. I mistyped it.
