Is only the Wifi connection going slow? What about wired?
Also, how slow is "slow"? Have you done any speed tests?

Most of us are other customers, so your going to have to give us alot more detail if you want us to help.
1. What kind of equipiment do you have? Modem? Router? Gateway?
2. How is it configured? If you don't know, you can just say that too.
3. Do you have any wired connections? If so, are they slow too?
4. What is slow? Slow is a relavtive word, so can you describe what you mean? Is it taking a long time to download something? Do websites take a long time to come up? Or maybe just to go to page to page? A speedtest from Cox internet tools would help.https://www.cox.com/residential/internet/speed-101.html
5. Last, what speed "should" you get? What plan do you pay for?

1. Netgear CG3000D? If not, what model?
2. Did Cox install it for you? Or someone else? To troubleshoot the wireless connection we need to know how it's set up. If Cox installed the network I would suggest calling them and having them come out.
3. Do you have any you can make wired to test? For instance, the Xbox?
4. What kind of things? Match making? Voice chat? Etc?
5. Premier? Did you try the speedtest?

1. Thank you
2. Do you have Home network protection plan?
3. Ok, let us know how that works when you try.
4. You may want to try to find a friend who is technical help you, but try these tips. First, make sure UPnP is enabled, as seen here page 143-144 of manual. If that is already enabled, or doesn't help, try port forwarding as instructed here. This is for Xbox 360. If you have Xbox One, use these instructions.
5. Do you only have a Xbox? No laptops or tablets or even smart phone? You should be able to do the test on most things. If you have a Iphone, try this test. If you just have a Xbox, I think you can download a browser app, but its not very good so may give you inaccurate results. If nothing else, its a start though.
