Internet Very Slow in the morning

Wired, New Modem, New Gigabit Router, Tech Visit(found interference), none of it mattered, every morning my speeds are below 2.0 mbps. After about 10 AM my speeds are around 32 mbps...no problems show up in tracert, all hops << 100 ms. Don't think its on my end, how can I get this fixed?

I am noticing the slow speeds again today. I am at intersection of Pima/Wilmot in Tucson. We had issues earlier this week due to Cox installing upgrade. The problem with slow internet is rearing its head again today. Please update us on this tech issue. Thanks.

Hi Tiffany,

I ran the tracert at various times, when my speeds were < 1.5 and when they were at 32, there was no difference in the hops or the times. One of my computers has gigabit Ethernet all the way to the modem, yet it still has a max speed of 32.5. Advertised speed is 50....never get better than 32.5.

It appears there were issues with the modem holding previous updates, I have resent the information and it appears to be responding better on its signal levels and logs. Are you able to test the speeds again to see if it is continuing as a issue?

Last speed test got to 34.3, still nowhere near 50. It's better than 12!
