IMAP email fails Inbox Check for new mail
My email will not sync to online account. The error I get is: Task '[Email address}: Folder:Inbox Check for new mail.' reported error (0x800CCC0E): 'Outlook cannot download folder Inbox from the IMAP e-mail server for account [Email address]. Error: Cannot connect to the server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
I did upgrade my modem yesterday to a SB6183 using the cox.net/activate website. I am not sure if any of my email accounts have worked since.

I see that you're having some trouble with Outlook, are you able to get your email if you login to http://webmail.cox.net? I would like to have you try that. The error message you're getting suggests there is something not allowing the connection and typically it is a firewall or security software.
