How do I stop the constant Cox advertisement from showing that I have a Internet Modem upgrade available?

This is getting annoying because it pops up every 2 minutes.  I have already filled out the order form.  Its starting to be harassment if you ask me.

The notifications will automatically stop once the system recognizes a D3 modem is attached to the account. My apologies that you find the notifications intrusive, that’s certainly not our intention. I'll deliver your feedback.

I would also like to express my concern over this type of communication. It breaks the packet and injects script into my data stream, which is kind of a "no no" for a ISP. Granted you have nothing but good attentions, but I would like Cox to know some of it's customers are very concerned about their privacy. Thank you
