How can I recover original username and password?
We don't know the original username and password set up when Cox internet was installed. How can this be recovered/reset?

Are you talking about your Cox account / primary e-mail password? If so, go to cox.net and click sign in. The pop-up will ask for userid and password but give you the option of "Forgot User ID or Password", click on that. It will allow you to recover your user id using your account number from your Cox bill.
If that's not the username you are asking about, please explain in more detail. HTH
