Homelife portal access with Windows Phone?
I don't know if Cox has gotten around to making an app for Windows phones yet, but for the last couple years, I have been able to access the website with my Windows 8 phone and operate our alarm system with it with little problem. In fact, it worked better that way than on my wife's android phone with the Homelife app.
I've upgraded to a Windows 8.1 phone, and now I can't get past the login page. I have no problem with any other websites, so I don't think it's in my settings. Is this a problem that will eventually be fixed?

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a Windows phone app ... the USA market share was only 4.8% in Feb of 2015 and dropped to 2.6% this Feb. Unless MS can do something drastic to jumpstart sales, I don't see devs putting any effort in creating new Windows phone apps. Major apps, like Mint and Spotify, have already dropped support for Windows phone.
Were you accessing your security system using a browser on your Windows phone? Which one? Did you try a different browser? Maybe a different browser will let you login.

I like the direction that AllenP is heading. Since you were able to access your home security system on the previous version of the Windows mobile browser, access might also be possible via other browsers. Have you tried any other browsers?
