Installing the security suite is usually relatively easy, with the following caveats:

• Instructions are here: http://www.cox.com/residential/support/tv/article.cox?articleId=730e5420-530c-11e5-fc94-000000000000
• Remember, you need to acquire the software after signing in and accessing through the Cox website - don't download it directly from McAfee
• If I remember there will be a serial number generated, write it down or save it somewhere, I think I remember needing to use it at some point
