Has Something Changed With Email?

I am still unable to receive email through Outlook. I can log on and send and receive through webmail.

So can anybody point me to the current settings for Outlook 2003? I am in Omaha. My settings now include "central" in the POP and SMTP servers. From what I found in support that is not mentioned. My incoming server is POP3- pop.central.cox.net, Outgoing, SMTP is smtp.central.cox.net. Incoming ports is 110. Outgoing is 25.

Very frustrating when they say it is fixed, yet still don't work.

Try pop.cox.net and smtp.cox.net for the server names.  Also if you're able to log in to webmail make sure to remove @cox.net from your username in Outlook if it has been included.

This is happening to me too but the opposite way.  I can received in Windows Mail, but not on webmail, phone or kindle.  I receive one or two on phone and when a new comes in they disappear.

First, the official support document.

All your settings sound correct. From what I understand, but please correct me, is pop.central.cox.net and smtp.central.cox.net just redirect to pop.cox.net and smtp.cox.net. Either should work.

What is the actual error you receive when trying to Send/receive? If you don't get one, try closing then re-opening Outlook. Looking specifically for a "0x800....." code but anything you happen to see would be helpful.

Windows Mail by default deletes your mailbox contents from our server when downloading/receiving email.  In the Advanced tab on the account settings in Windows Mail there is an option to modify that behavior.

About 2 weeks ago my POP email will receive but not send, Tried everything, Working when I went to bed, when I got up nada, Seems it is always something with Cox, I will not call after my last experience a month ago with a gum chewing, yawning, rude, supposedly tech,

Mac, running Lion. So went to my icloud account. One day my hope is to do away with Cox all together. So disgusted. Incoming pop.west.cox.net Out Cox server smtp.west.cox.net  port 110

Try removing west from both of those.  Are you getting any errors when you try to send?
