Sometime in the last several weeks, most channels above channel 24 are not showing full screen. They are short top to bottom, side to side their fine. Every TV in the house has been affected

Why is it so difficult to call cox and get something answered accurately. It seems that the systems that they are utilizing and the internet page they use is so old it makes no sense to put your business with them

Are all of the TVs in the home connected to the same model Set Top Box (STB)? If there is a STB connected to each TV, you can go into the Settings and change the aspect ratio. Are you looking at HD or SD channels?

Dustin,
We have only cable in the house, no boxes to the individual TV's. The funny thing is the commercials are full screen but the show programming reduces to shortened top and bottom. This was not happening several months ago.

Are these widescreen TVs? It sounds like you may be able to address the TV aspect ratio to fit the screen completely. We broadcast the signal given to us from the Networks. I'd recommend adjust the aspect ratio to one of the TVs to fit the screen. It will cut some of the edges to the commercials, but will stretch the picture to fit the screen.
I'm not sure what would have caused all TVs in the house to do this, unless there was a power outage and the settings need to be changed back on the televisions in the house. This sounds crazy, but you may just need to go into the TV settings to change the aspect ratio to each TV.
