Formula 1 - program schedule today

Why is there so many conflicts with Cox programming? Its either that the recording fails for some technical  difficulty that is not defined or as is the case today. I auto record all Formula 1 events. Formula 1 showed on my guide that it was scheduled to start today, 6-12-16 at 5pm on channel 1082 NBCSN and then at 5:30 when I turn it  on, I see that even though the guide is showing its recording Formula 1, its actually recording gofl so I have no Formula 1 to watch now because apparently it showed earlier today but wasnt identified correctly in the guide.
