It NEVER fails...EVERY time bad weather is on the way, my picture starts messing up. I've had cox come out and change the main line coming into the house and our splitters. We are even paying for the "protection plan", yet nothing has been done about this. Cable was supposed to be stable right? First the sound will go out and the picture goes pixelated and a few seconds later goes back to normal. This will happen several times an hour. Does anyone have issues with this? Is there any way to correct this?

I have the same problem, it is not only during bad weather for me though. I record shows on cable channels on my dvr and then when I go to watch them I can't because they cut out way too much to watch it. Been that way forever but it is so much worse now that they are going all digital and forcing HD on me. All the recent changes are pushing me closer and closer to getting rid of cable tv. I don't know if I will keep cox for my internet or find another provider but I am fed up with crappy service and all they ever want to do is send someone out and they never do anything.
