Error code on TV
Hello,
I am trying to set up my new receiver and I have an error code on my TV that reads your hdtv does not support hdcp. Please use the YPrPb component connection to watch television. Do I just need to purchase those cords and hook the receiver and TV up to make it work or is there something I can do to make the HDMI cable work? The HDMI cable works for our apple TV.

First I would try a different HDMI port on your TV. HDMI 1 if possible. If that didn't work I would try a new HDMI cord, preferably one your using to connect something else to the TV (to confirm the wire works).
PS. Reason I asked for model number was to make sure the TV is HDCP compatible, which it is.
