DVR

I have two cox-supplied DVR's in my house - one of them works perfect. for the other one, anything i play back has no sound. Anyone know why that is? or what settings I can change? Or do I just need a new box from COX? thanks.

Hi Rjm123,

Do you have a stereo or any type of sound system connected to this TV? What type of cable(s) currently connect the TV to the DVR? Is it one HDMI cable, a set of red, yellow, and white cables, or a set of red, green, blue, red, and white? The article found at http://bit.ly/ConnectRcvr might help you identify the different types of cable.
