DVD play after Minibox installation
Hello, all.
Which input (HDMI, TV) should be selected when preparing to play a DVD? Tuning to 3 doesn't work as it did before minibox installation, so perhaps HDMI should be changed to .... what?

Hi, Stephanie. Thank you for your response. Did I misread the minibox installation instructions? They seem to note that the input channels 3 or 4 should be used only if a coax was connected to the TV. We used the HDMI cable.
However, although the TV screen shows HDMI (at the upper right, if facing the screen), we cannot get to the VCR/DVD.
To complicate matters for us, while we were trying to figure this out, if a TV program is on, and we turn on the VCR/DVD player, the image on the screen freezes.

Garnet, you have 2 devices, a VCR/DVD player and the mini box. You should also have 2 connections to the TV, one for each device. You told us the mini box is connected via hdmi, how is the DVD player connected? Are both connected directly to the TV or is there any connection between the VCR and minibox? More details please.

Hello, Allen and Stephanie,
We've connected the DVR player directly to the TV. Using the TV remote and selecting AV as input, everything seems O.K. now. There is no connection between the DVR player and the minibox.
Both of you saw the connections as the likely problem, and WE should have used common sense and checked them first.
