Digital disappeared
have an issue with tele signal and picture breakup. Called Cox to have them check my cable line. Line appears OK but rep asked me to do a new channel search. She is calling back tonight so did this after the initial phone call. When the scan finished, I no longer had digital, only analog on that one television. Called back again, was told that was not a cox issue but was network issue. Does this make any sense? I don't have any digital or even analog without cable.

Make sure you read and follow all setup and scan instructions in the Insignia manual. From the "...no higher than channel 13..." info, it sounds like an input switch or menu setting is set to antenna (or similar) instead of cable (or similar.)

Are you using a cable box (model #), or is your cable plugged directly into the TV (model #.) How is this wired?

Cable is plugged directly into TV -
Insignia LCD TV
Model # : NS - LCD26 - 09
Never had a problem until I disconnected cable line, put it back on and then rescanned channels. Now only analog channels, does not go higher than channel 13 - almost like it has an old dial. Also much more grainy than originally was.

Domino, thank you so much - before I even looked for the instruction manual, went back into menu and realized the error of my ways. I was so sure it was a cox issue because I automatically rescan every so often and have never had this problem. Brain did not go to the logical thought of "following directions". I could see digital when it was scanning but it was grayed out. Now I know why.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
