Delete a recording while watching it?

On my older non-trio DVR, I used to be able to hit Stop while a recording was playing and have the option to delete it. This is beneficial in the event that it turns out that I already saw the show and just want to delete it.

With the new DVR, it seems that I have to navigate all the way to the recording in the DVR menu or fast forward to the end of the recording to do this.  While this isn't really a crisis, it's by no means quicker or as quick as the old way.

Can anyone suggest a quicker way to delete individual recordings?

If not, please submit my feedback to the appropriate parties to have this feature added.  Thank you!
