cox ultimate slows to a crawl in the evening
I can understand peak usage slowing things down, but my ultimate service is currently barely coughing up 5mbps on speedtest. That is not acceptable for $100 a month. when it's working as it should, it can get to 60mbps easily. what's the deal? I'm in oklahoma city.

The modem is reporting transmit power levels being out of specificaiton on the high end so a splitter could be a possibility. The modem is also not bonding to all the channels availalble. If addressing the splitter doesn't solve the issue a service call could be needed to troubleshoot further.

its up to 15mbps now. still way under what it should be. Could it be a bad splitter? I've used the same splitter for almost 10 years.
