Contour 6 recording multiple copies of some shows

Two or three of the programs for which I record all new shows in a series, create 3 and sometimes 4 copies of the show in my list.  The appear to be separate copies, because when I delete 1, the others remain and I have to delete each one.  It consistently happens on the same shows.  Any ideas?
