connecting new tv

Replaced an old conventional tv with an LG LB7200 flatscreen (about time, most friends told me!).  Took the coax cable connection that ran from my cox dvr box to my old tv and attached it to the new one.  I now receive only one channel.  The TV displays a message saying "no network connection."  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

bob

From the DVR to HDTV use an HDMI cable, you can pick one up just about anywhere.

If it is a really old DVR w/o an HDMI port, you may need to either swap it for a newer one or use Component Cables.

The Coax cable to the TV (from the DVR) will not get you HD video.

The LG LB7200 is a Smart TV, so the "No Network Connection" is referring to the TV not being connected to the Internet, You would need a WiFi Router or an Ethernet cable from the router to the TV in order to use the LG Smart TV functions. That message has nothing to do with the Cox TV signal.
