Can't program mini box remote to RCA SLD48G45RQ
Hello,
I cannot program the cox mini box remote to work with the RCA tv, model: SLD48G45RQ
1. I have try using automatic Code Search, and followed the setup step and holding Select button for over 30 minutes, still not working.
2. RCA is not on the list of the popular Brand Setup.
3. I have try Direct Code Lookup and found code 2932 found on this site: http://www.urcsupport.com/html.php?page_id=950 but it still not working.
What other codes that will work with RCA SLD48G45RQ? Thank you for your help.

Pretty sure the auto code search process goes through every variant of IR signal the remote is capable of sending. If you didn't find it via that code search, the remote isn't compatible IMO.
Do you have a RCA TV remote? Is it possible to program that to control the mini box? I have heard code 54079 works for the mini box on some remotes. Also, what type of mini box do you have? Cisco or Evolution?

Yes I have the RCA remote that come w/ the TV but it's not programable. Thanks for your help.

Have you tried the following codes that are found on our website? Are all of these codes the exact same codes you found to use on the manual that came with the Mini Box Remote?

1. Press and hold the SETUP until the POWER button blinks twice.
2. Enter the first 4-digit code listed for your TV brand.
4. Press the POWER button to test TV control. If the TV turns off, you have found the correct code and setup is complete.
5. If the TV does not turn off, repeat this process trying each code listed for your TV brand until you find the correct code.
