Hello everyone,
Have called the Cox tech support several times at this point, and a replacement cablecard without any success. The people helping have been very friendly, just don't seem to have a large amount of knowledge on cablecards. I'm hopeful someone here can tell me what to ask the tech support to do to get the full list of channels unlocked.
I have had my Ceton Infititv 4 since it came out and has always worked flawlessly on Comcast before we moved to Phoenix last month. Now in south Phoenix the pairing went smooth, I have very good signals on all channels, but I do no receive channels other than what are in the basic TV Starter pack. I ordered the Advanced TV preferred, and am certainly up to date on payments. When I go to tune a channel that I should get in either SD or HD, I get a 'subscription required, contact your service provider'. This happens for any channels beyond the 40 channels or so that are in The TV Starter and TV Started HD. The few channels I can currently get in SD and HD come in very clear.
Any help in unlocking my full list of channels would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hmm. Pulling up your account, it doesn't look like they sent the right refresh sequence to the card to get the lineup loaded, so I just did that. I think.
But even if that takes, you're still going to be missing some channels unless you get a tuning adapter hooked up.

Hello Kip,
Haven't seen a change in available channels when I just checked. I will have a tuning adapter added to the account to make sure I get everything I should.
Thank you.

Kip,
Could you try and send a new entitlement signal to my cablecard. At this point all of the channels beyond the local ones show up as needing an entitlement signal in my Ceton diagnostic. Thank you.

I just sent the signal again, and our troubleshooting suggests restarting the digital cable ready device at this point if it's still not recognizing the lineup. I'm not sure exactly how that works with a tuner on a computer, our steps are geared more toward things like TiVos.

The signal did some good that time. Have much more channels at this point, most notably missing the Bonus Pak stations. Will get the STA1520 and see how far that gets me. Will I need to get a second cablecard with that tuner, or is it built in? Thank you for your help.

The tuning adapter gets mated in our system with the existing CableCard to tune in the switched digital channels that are only broadcast on request. No other hardware is required.
