Cable box with TV screen saying "Channel is off Air check back later"

Just hooked cable box up & getting "Channel off air Check Back Later". This is a standard cable box. Not the Mini Box nor a DVR box.

Is this a new installation or a box that was unhooked for awhile? We may need to send an activation signal to the box. Please send us an email with a link to this thread along with your home address or account number so that we can look into this for you.
