Cable box not turning on
Last night my cable box froze up. When i tried to restart it, it will not turn on. All it does is flash all 8's occasionally. Is the box fried or is there a fix.

You could try disconnecting power for two minutes and plugging it back in to see if that clears the error. If not, it may be time to swap it.
