Are Cox or any of their routing partners, having problems?

Very HIGH latency at times here in Vegas as well, been going on since Friday, really bad today! This happened about six weeks ago and think there maybe a similiar problem now.

I haven't found any relevant tickets, and a looking glass ping and trace to your IP from various locations isn't coming up with anything odd at the moment.
I do show a high T3 count on your modem, so you may be intermittently timing out due to a signal issue of some kind. The thing to do in that case is to verify the cable connection is secure at both ends, power-cycle the modem, and then schedule a service call if the issue continues.

Me and a couple friends last night were discussing that over the last 3 or 4 days we have been having issues with Youtube and streaming their HD content. To be clear, it WAS NOT just people with Cox, and neither was it all my friends who had Cox. We all had great throughputs in general and could stream other content (IE Netflix). It didn't even seem to fallow any geographical area either. We tried different browsers, updating flash, HTML4 vs Flash, different DNS's, and compared tracert without being able to track anything down.

Yet the issue still remained where advertisement would load (some in HD) just fine, but then when trying to change the resolution above either 360p or 480p, Youtube would process, then error out that there wasn't enough bandwidth or would just time out and stay at the current resolution.

I tried this morning, trying to play the same content to keep the variables limited, and everything seemed fine. I cleared temp and cookies and tried again thinking maybe the video was cached, and same thing. HD content streamed fine. Now I go back (as of this very second)  and the same video is greying out 480p and won't load (the gear spins) 720p. Anyone on the East Coast able to confirm this? Should I make a new thread?
