Recently I had to change my webmail password. Ever since then I can't access cox mail on my andriod phone with verizon.  Verizon said it's a COX issue.  It will not sign on sayinf that the user name and password do not match.  I can sign on everywhere else, except on my phone.  Anyone else having this trouble and know of a solution.  It also happens on the K-9 app.

If the username and password work everywhere but the phone, I don't see how Verizon can say it's a Cox problem. But anyway, if its happening on both apps maybe try changing your password? If that doesn't work, try creating a test account account and trying with that on the phone.

The usual problem after an account password change is that the password isn't correctly or successfully updated on the phone.

Since the only successful POP or IMAP email log-ins in the last 6 days from your account have been from your Cox IP address, and there have been 10 unsuccessful log-in attempts from Verizon Wireless IP addresses, something is definitely set wrong on the phone.

Any detailed support for fixing this would be Verizon's area.
