Amazing Spiderman 2 in 3D and On Demand not available or just not listed?

According to this:

Amazing Spiderman 2 in 3D should have been available same day as DVD, which was the 19th.  It is still not listed in my On Demand listings under 3D movies and does not show up when I search for it.

No one at Cox has been able to tell me when or if it is available.   All they say when I call is "looks like you don't have it".

I KNOW that, that is why I am calling you!

Is it just me, or does someone out there have Amazing Spiderman 2 available ON Demand in 3D?

Thanks!

(Sorry if this has been asked before,,,this website way too slow to search.)

Look under "All New Movies." The Amazing Spiderman 2 is listed in both 2D and 3D formats.

Not for me.   For me it list only regular and HD.

This is very frustrating.

It's listed in the "3D Movies" section, too. $6.99! Yow!

After three calls to customer service, posting on a forum and opening a ticket, Cox finally fixed my guide so it shows up in my listings.  Hooray Cox.

So I am all set so me and my girlfriend can snuggle up and watch it on a Saturday evening.  It says select side by side, which is unusual.  Most every 3D movie Cox has has always been over/under, but OK.  I select side/by side and we put on our glasses.

The movie starts playing back, but even with the 3D glasses, it still has a split image  -- NOT 3D.   It is unwatchable!

I call Cox, spend 30 minutes on the phone with the rep who cannot find anything wrong on Cox's end.  Finally offers to send someone out to look at it, but there are no slots available Sunday....nothing available until Monday!

This had better be a REALLY GOOD MOVIE!!

I do have to consider the possibility the problem is on MY end, though.  (I cannot remember ever having to use side by side for Cox ever.)

Anyone else out there have a 3D TV  and have succeeded in watching this movie in 3D on it?

I finally figured out the problem IS on my end after all, kind of.  I was annoyed by the bars so I put I had Cox stretch the picture a bit.   That slight distortion was not noticeable to me at all and the bars went away.  This had no effect at all (that I could notice) when I played back an over/under 3D picture, but apparently severely distorts a side by side 3D picture.

I went to Cox's quick set up and let them reset the display to what their system thinks provides the best viewing experience.  After that, the movie played back perfectly.

You would have thought the Cox rep would've had me check my Cox settings, but no.   I just thought of that on my own.  Now I can cancel the service call.  I will have to reset my Cox settings back to the way I like it....but not until after the movie!  LOL!

So how do I mark this question as "Answered" now?

Click on "select this answer" in the bottom right corner of the reply that has the answer.
