Hi,
I have received an email to complete a survey to earn a $5 Amazon gift card. How do I confirm that the email is originally from Cox?
Thanks.

I received this email in October also. I did the survey and received the $5.00 e-code. It worked!

I have one of these as well. As far as how to verify an emails origin, that will depend on your mail client. In general you can follow the steps on this page to verify an email address is valid. http://www.labnol.org/software/verify-email-address/18220/
To verify that an email came from whom it says it came from requires looking at the email headers, which is different for each mail client and I'm honestly not sure if it's even possible via webmail.
Hope this helps

I received the same deceptive offer. Don't hold your breath.

I'm not sure what email you got so I can't say if it's valid or not but I got one and filled out the survey and it was legit. Used it to help buy my sister's birthday present last week, actually.
