Cox Contour HBO On Demand - The Sopranos Season 3 Ep 9+ Played on SD but not HD. How do I fix this?

I’ve been watching The Sopranos on HBO On Demand on my Cox contour TV box and for some reason, it’s been displayed at SD quality, all stretched out. It’s been happening since starting season 3, episode 9. Episode 8 and previous episodes play at HD quality. 

Any suggestions as to how how to fix this? Thanks for any help.

Hi JJM91, not all episodes are available through HBO in HD. I pulled up The Sopranos season 3, episode 8, on a Contour 2 receiver. One of the "watch" options displays "HBO Free HD". The "watch" option for season 3, episode 9, however, displays "HBO Free SD". In addition to HBO, episodes of The Sopranos are also available via Amazon Prime Video. If you are an Amazon Prime subscriber, select the Prime Video "watch" option for episode 9 instead of HBO. Sign into your Amazon account using your Amazon login information and see if Amazon provides all season 3 episodes in HD format. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
