It MAY be a setting on your TV itself vs the contour box or paramount plus settings.

If you wanted to fast-forward or rewind a video on the app, do you see the Progress Bar of Contour or the app?  If you see the Progress Bar of Contour, there is a CC graphic on this screen.

Following a few simple steps, you can easily switch on Accessibility Feature in Paramount plus on cox contour.

There are two ways to activate the closed subtitles, which are as follows:

  1. For on-request content: On the remote for the Contour box, either press the ZERO button or select the CC button.
  2. Regarding live TV: On the remote for the Contour box, press the number 0. To make changes to subtitles that are closed.
  3. After selecting Settings from the primary menu, select Closed Captions from the submenu that appears.
  4. Make sure that the style of the closed subtitles is selected.
