Cancellation

Just a thought.  This may fall under "exchange ideas" or "offer help," such as to recommend another method to cancel your service or to avoid Joshua.  Cox removed the word "technical" from its Guidelines.  The word is still in the 10-year-old Sticky, but I think the Guidelines would take precedence for usage policy.

That's a stretch. OP didn't offer any suggestions to avoid Joshua. Just a complaint that he was rude and unprofessional. It is politely worded, so I take no offense to it being here, just saying DSLReports might get more views.

A "stretch" from what reference point?  The suggestion is if Joshua answers the phone, hang up and try again.

The OP also seems distress from the experience of an extremely rude and unprofessional Cox representative, so this post may fall under "obtain [emotional] support."

"The Support Forums are here for the enjoyment and benefit of all members" and some members enjoy rants.

You are helpful.  Yes, definitely spread the word about your experience.  However, you also implied the post doesn't belong here.  We read all voices.
