Upgrade question
I just ordered an upgrade which includes a modem from Cox. On my confirmation it says:
Receive Equipment Via: Equipment In-Hand
What does "Equipment In-Hand" mean?

Best guess is it's saying you already have a compatible modem/gateway. What model device do you have? You can always swap it out at a Cox store for a newer one if you want. Any DOCSIS 3.1 gateway(white one) should work. If you want it shipped, I suggest calling Cox and asking them.
